Anyone experiencing connection drop on eight 4g lately? Keep having to cycling on and off mobile data to recover, another phone also experiencing the same issue.

Location? If Vivo city damn cui, sometimes on/off also dont work. I just wrotr in to IMDA, email eight 3 weeks no reply with chaser.

Was between dhoby ghout to eunos areas, really cui no internet at all, feels like simba all over again lol

I just took different area. Orchard to Khatib peak timing. Was working fine except the usual blind spots no network but auto connect after that.

In woodlands near blk 688, full bars but cant even load a webpage. Even speed test also take 6,7 tries time can got connection. Seems like today got a technical issue.

Unless you are as lucky as me and fly out 1-2 days before renewal, then the upgrade would be worth it. Else, just stick with those eSIM services.


It's just roaming service provided by China Mobile Hong Kong or 3 Hong Kong or any of the existing china telco that has branch in Hong Kong. Not entirely true that it is a "VPN"

But reviews said can WhatsApp YouTube Facebook . Is that vpn?

The IP assigned to you is marked as Hong Kong, of course you can use whatsapp youtube facebook.
China -> Hong Kong -> China

Same as if you roam with SG Telco and also, there are also providers that uses SG as transit point, so if you can use tiktok in addition to all those other apps, it is mostly using a SG IP

FYI - If you "need" to use tiktok on your trip, don't get the esim that uses Hong Kong telco. Ask those sellers if you not sure

By the way recently I have this very unique experience . I am unsure where to post . I first had the opportunity to use the Google Gemini Pro because I bought a Samsung S25 Ultra and it Gemini came free as part of the promotion , for a few months to use .

when it ended , I joined my friends family group for Google Gemini plan . Now the issue is:

When I was using the Gemini provided by Samsung under the free promotion period, it was very smart . It can answer and even correct me . Went beyond and exceed expectations.
Now with the same questions, I use the family plan Gemini .
Both are set to thinking , pro to generate results . Apparently this time it keeps making mistakes and errors .

The responses received are either off-topic or simply a waste of time.
Alternative route fares no better "silence"
Send constant reminders as such, even after a dozen emails to both green parties, no progress and response.
This is despite site survey has already been conducted and coverage readings have been properly documented, yet the issue persists without resolution.
Length - above 3 months

On the positive side, the issue should be resolved shortly base on latest update.

mainland China can't use all of them.
HK can't use TT, sometimes ChatGPT. But can use others, YT, Insta, whatsapp,...
