Correct me if I’m wrong.. Eight does NOT support passkeys yet, there’s no way to create one for this app

Mine uses passkey to manage the different numbers owned.

Sorry i need help with the passkey thingy… first time using…

Context is, the eight line is for my boy. But i would want to log in to eight app on my phone to track usage. But bcuz of the OTP thing, it’s damn troublesome if i dun have his phone with me.

I tried to register bio/passkey on my phone. It failed, saying passkey not supported by ms authenticator (why authenticator?). Then left me with scan qr code and security key options. I definitely dun have any security key. So i tried scanning the qr code with another phone. Then it prompted saying i have to enable icloud keychain (which i dun use) and something about saving the passkey in that other phone..? I’m really confused…. I just want to be able to log in to the app on my phone without having to get OTP from my boy’s phone. How to do it?

use icloud password manager for iOS or google(/chrome) password manager for both iOS and android.

Not sure why you need to check so often. It is very hard to use up the hundreds of GB that is provided. Unless you got balance, data service will be cut off after your entitlement.

Ok finally got out of my “comfort zone”… had to enable icloud keychain… and why it kept trying to save to authenticator is cuz i enabled it as autofill. Once i checked passwords and uncheck authenticator, it prompted to save passkey to passwords and it worked from there. Thanks!

The access is not about wanting to check often… more of simply having the oversight and being able to access from my phone independently. He was with zero1 and no issue with app login from my phone. My girls lines are zym together with mine so also no issue with login.

Eight done the right thing by replace the 11.80 plan to 5G at cheaper price 10.80 with same data package but yearly price unchange, yearly price should be reduce also

What is limited offer mean? Once hit the target or offered date will change plan again?

If I signed up. Will I permanent get this 5G data package for 10.80 if I don't change plan?

It is the same as the $8 plan.

The only difference is the additional $2.80/mth just for 5G.

Try getting a cheap 4g plan and see if it works for you. if you need 5g there is always trial 3 mth on ST mvnos. Telco network preferences differ from users.

I currently using eight $8 and Simba $10.

For me Eight 4G is better than Simba 5G most of the time but Simba is half price from 1 to 1 top up

Thinking to try eight or zym 5G whichever have better usability since almost same price
