We mainly use the eight S$8 line for roaming. My wife also uses it as a backup line in Singapore.

Now she is in China for a three-week trip and eight S$8 4G plan (Physical SIM, Poco X6 Pro which is her backup phone) seems to work fine for roaming, along with Singtel hi! S$13 5G plan (eSIM, on the same iPhone 14 as her main Singtel S$15.28 SIM).

can ask her to test if there is any fair use policy while using roaming data in overseas? my personal experience in bolehland is NO.

Haha, she does not entertain any such requests from me.

And eight S$8 plan has only 3GB China data, not suitable for this test anyway.

The main roaming data will come from Singtel hi! S$13 eSIM on her iPhone, which has 26GB China roaming data.

If my SIM card go overseas ( which means not me ) my understanding is that
- SG can call to overseas
- Overseas can call back SG
- Overseas can call local overseas number. use the + follow by the number??

Thanks. I managed to find this in their critical information for my plan.

VoLTE Roaming:
288 incoming minutes,
288 outgoing minutes to home country (Singapore),
288 outgoing minutes to local country (the country that you roam)

Just be aware of SIM card misuse laws. Ordinarily you and your SIM card should not be divorced or separated.

Dun say their card. Even my own maxis line also no signal in quite a bit of the building de public access area.
Basement supermarket pls use their wifi.
In the building use their wifi for vowifi best effort.

Anyway if not staying sheraton, no point go there

Absolutely. Basement as good as no signal for everybody. They haven't fixed it after 1 month. Think they'll need 1 year to improve at the rate that they work.

I just noticed that there's new Add-on called IDD SMS which allows to send international SMS from SG. Not sure if this will work while roaming in another country.

SKS mall is a new mall so normal to have poor reception same in SG too. New area reception maybe affected too.

i was there 2 weeks ago i am unable to pay using touch and go .. they even advise me to use the wifi provided. Anyway wont go again .. small and nothing to shop .. lol
