vested on this useless robovisor, supposingly can get 2.5% with CPF.. Now totally lose $$ and in a sinking ship..

Regretted using my OA to invest
i liquidated my investment with endowus sometime back. now cannot find my post here.
when other people posting here 1 year double digits returns, i only get miserable 3% after fees and rebates, even when i faithfully follow their rebalancing and fund switching calls.
i guess timing is important.

i am glad i am out. but mostly because of their management arrogance and customer support answer like no answer. don't anyhow use OA and SA. don't anyhow listen to certain "guru" use OA you anyhow follow. certain "guru" can afford to lose everything in endowus and maybe still can get income from his other directorships, advisory work, selling market signals etc. just saying.

not advise.

I am doubtful any robos can have a + returns at this point in time.

if they can, I think they are probably the best is this world

Not really make positive returns, but Stashaway used to "beat the market" a fair bit in 2019 and 2020 through active management. But active mgmt will have its bad day as well. They obviously made the wrong gamble with China tech and their performance last year was garbage with their gross overweight in KWEB.

So what were you expecting from Endowus? Outperformance? Better service?

agree with you.. lesson learnt: dont invest with CPF $$ ..

You got to buy and hold long term if you invest. If anything this period of high inflation and volatility should have reminded us that more should be done with CPF. Sigh. Such a waste that you learned the wrong lessons.

reasonable service for a start. like email reply within 1-2 week. reasonable or not?
and like sometimes ask them question, they give tell me just have to trust them. like why they change funds, i read but still don't understand their rationale so one event ask them, they reply have to trust them. answer like no answer.

Our experience are different then. I only contacted them once and the reply was prompt.

The fund swaps are pretty intuitive. Just go for cheaper, lower cost equivalent, if you want more info just read their articles.

Maybe they dunno how to reply u. Dont think their fund switch was just based on trust. They gave talks to explain, provided slides, explained in email the rationale liao, and they were extremely quick in addressing my question regarding the fund they are switching to.

Did yr question require them to start explaining everything from index fund 101? Or maybe u just dont accept their explanation?

Honestly no idea. Should email them and get an answer. Didn't realise this part of things still so slow.

As long as it's invested ASAP it's ok. I remember cpf and SRS investment are locked in one business day later, although it is "completed" at a longer time. Not too bad imo

IShares and Amundi versions are cheaper. iShares ones also looked more performant...

Not available for cpf.

Using CPF?

Yeah seems like lionglobal is still the cheapest.

This is their reply "There is a slight delay between the dividend payout and reinvestment as UOB Kay Hian would need the dividend to be sighted from the fund managers first before the dividend can be distributed to clients. This would also thus delay the reinvestment leg.

Please bear with us, we're working with UOB Kay Hian to shorten this process. "

The dividend should be credited on paydate so not sure why uob still need to sight the funds before endowus can process to reinvest dividend.. Check my past history all dividends reinvestment took 2 weeks or more from paydate..

With endowus launching the Amundi Prime USA and msci world index fund, i think they will further dominate unit trust investing option. They are clearly the lowest cost option on most choices.

I have not heard that these Amundi funds for cpf made available on Moneyowl or FSM/dollardex, is it because these are clean share class with no trailers?

Or is there some monopoly thing going on? A bit non competitive imo, not exactly sure what's going on behind the scene.

How long does endowus complete the dividend reinvestment? I used my OA to invest in a fund which paid dividend on the 23rd. Until now I see nothing in my endowus account
