Didn't ask him to all in. Asked him to stick to one fund.
One fund, you only pay endowus 0.3
Multiple funds, you pay up to 0.6 Twice as much.
I would rather pay half as much.

DFA funds are diversified. Global Core is developed markets. World is Developed and Emerging.
Only difference is whether one wants EM exposure.
DFA is also a reputed fund company that is researched based.
Endowus, on the other hand, is a new company with almost no history.
I would rather let DFA choose my stocks (DFA fund), as opposed to letting endowus choose (Endowus portfolios)

Between paying more and letting an inexperienced company choose.
And paying less and letting a world renowned company choose.
I prefer paying less with DFA.

But yes. Everyone should do their own due diligence instead of just taking advice off random people on the internet.
I also like to add on that fees using CPF is 0.4% compared to 0.3% for single fund. And yes, if you want strictly global coverage using cpf, just go for lion global infinity global stock fund. I see that they recently added class C with lower fees.

Reading your post is cancer. Can you please correct your English?

Nonetheless the Dimensional Global Core Equity Fund & World Equity Fund cannot be compared directly with each other.

Global Core is only exposed to developed markets. DFA's equivalent (albeit with tilt to value stocks) of IWDA ETF.
World Equity Fund is exposed to both developed & emerging markets. It is quite literally an all-world fund, and is DFA's equivalent (albeit with tilt to value stocks) of VWRA ETF.

The better comparison with World Equity Fund should be a multi-fund portfolio of Dimensional Global Core 75% + Dimensional Emerging Market Large Cap 13% + Dimensional Pacific Basin 12%

If you ask me, the World Equity Fund is far better than the Global Core, if you are only going for a single-fund portfolio. By investing only in Global Core you are leaving out Emerging Markets entirely, and essentially betting on US growth (since America makes up a giant proportion of developed market). Risk diversification is key in a core investment portfolio.

Lion funds are not worth it if you are investing with cash. The TER is way too excessive, you are better off buying the equivalent ETF from IBKR.

sorry tht u contracted it...

the 2 is best not to b compared but since they r offerd on the plate to a qn-poster hence it is discussed ...
& edowus dont offer the other options so ?
totally pointless to discuss here in this thread... unless we hve to bring in Syfe custom which doesnt allow the use of CPF

Pretty sweet that Endowus has a new SGD cash deposit system that enables a FAST transfer to a virtual HSBC account with an account number that is unique to the investor. No longer have to think about holding on to some amount of cash in Endowus, or transferring it <5 pm for next day <12.30 pm deployment.

Endowus deal with mutual funds, not ETFs.

Yes you can choose your own mutual funds via Emdowus Fund Smart but selections are limited if funding is done via CPF.

At the end of the day, if you're new, please go read up about investing. Know what you're investing into and why you're doing it. No one cares about your money other than yourself. I don't care about your money and Endowus only cares whether you give them money.

If you just buy some random portfolio because a stranger on the internet recommended it, or because your insurance agent said it's good or because the robo advisor recommended it... That's really not too different from betting on horse racing because some stranger recommended it or you think it looks like the best horse. In fact, horse racing is better because the emotional rollercoaster will be over quicker.

Go read up. Value investing, growth stocks, passive investing, boglehead investing, dividend investing, fundamental analysis, technical analysis. Whatever.
Go read up what Endowus investing philosophy is. What Syfe or Stashaway or Autowealth is trying to do.
Form your own opinions. Make your own decisions.

Ask better questions than "What's best to buy?" Because that question sounds not much different from "Which horse to bet?"

if u r new to investments, then better dun touch ur CPF. they r ur retirement funds that will grow over the years if u do not use it. start small investments using ur spare cash. when u're more experienced, then can gradually increase the investments. touch CPF only as last resort.
