Sinktel sent me a $100 voucher to recontract. So if i recontract, i can get huawei p10 (combo 2) at $68 (198-100-30) and sell it at $600. So I only need spent about $200 for this phone

But the overall size is more manageable one handed and more regular software updates . Now already on 7.1.1 with Oct security update.

Some updates after further use:

- Tried nova launcher (i was using lawnchair launcher) and it did create some scrolling lag and jittery frames. went back to lawnchair and no more scrolling issues.

- cool, essential team really released security updates as promised very quickly. also fixed the finger print bug that affected pple whose finger will be on the scanner in normal use.

- battery life is amazing compared to my ip7. no more fear of my phone dying in my ride home (approx 9 pm) nowadays. SOT is ~5.5 hours. but i dont do much other than whatsapp, surf net (no videos), read on kobo app.

- getting a bit pissed about how most apps dont make use of the full screen tough. usually there is just a black border along the whole notch area.
