actually there is nothing wrong with essential's camera hardware. it takes good photo with google's hdr+ camera app.

Looks similar. But the battery life really depends on usage. I tried streaming radio for almost 4 hours the other day, screen on time is only 3 hours plus n battery is at 2x percent. Today didn't do much streaming only occasionally YouTube-ing n web surfing n messaging. Basically back to my normal usage. Battery still got 50% with 4 hours screen on time.
