I assume the payment i make is to policypal and policypal will then make the payment on my behalf to Tiq, am I right?

i paid to an OCBC account, Payee is PolicyPal

it's OK

tomorrow, Live Chat PP to ask them to process the policy

usually if payment is made during work hours, policy can be effective same day .. within an hour

Thanks for sharing bro!

Btw, anyone knows if the $10 credit for registering a Policypal account can be withdrawn or used to offset the premium payment for Etiqa?

Finally bit the bullet and signed up yesterday through PP. Application was fuss free and processed in about two hours after payment. The policy showed up in my TiqConnect account this morning. I don’t see any function on the PP app to top up additional amounts. I am guessing I will have to do that through the TiqConnect app directly?

if I apply today before 23:59 but make payment in the next 7 days am I still entitled for the bonus like $55 capitaland for 50k deposit?

I checked with Policypal today, they say still entitled for the promotion as long as apply by 31 Aug 2020 23:59.

Btw, this month also have new promotion but no more $55 capitaland. Only left with $30 rebate for $50k.

try not to put in more than $100k combined for everything under etiqa. that's the coverage limit.

Its better open two accts from 2 names, put 50k each? To maximise the $30 cash rebate from policypal? Can refer each other to get etiqa credit too? Tia

Hi!
Applying for Elastiq via PolicyPal should be the best promo now with $10-$30 cash rebates AND up to $30 credits depending on Net Premiums Paid.

I tot is just $30 from policy pal?

Abit confused where to open in policy pal too

the 50k maximum is for the initial account opening.. only this first 50k is guaranteed 1.8% rate for 3yrs.

After opening can do adhoc top up at prevailing rate (currently still 1.8%).. minimum of 500 in increment of 500 up to total 200k...

but as maumu was sharing, SDIC only cover up to 100k total

Withdrawal also in multiples of $500.. meaning if got loose change after interest like $10670, can only withdraw $10500 and forfeit the $170?

Any reason to choose elastiq over gigantiq?

Have already opened gigantiq even though there is a 50-70cents withdrawal fee since I only intend to park. Also seems more flexible than the withdrawals in $500 amts.

I know the difference liao
Elastiq is uniform 1.8% for all your money for the first 3 years
Gigantiq is the same like singlife/dash, ie. balu 2% on the first $10K for the FIRST YEAR nia, $10,000.01 onward you get 1%
On paper Elastiq seems like a better deal.

Full withdrawal is possible (transfer to your POSB/DBS a/c) once you close the plan, ie. full surrender.

This plan’s negative is that at all times you must maintain daily average balance of $5000 else they charge you a $5 fee monthly.
I just read the FAQ in policypal
