Used both the plus version. Day to day usage feel no different. But 8 plus is heavier

I held a friends iPhone 8 and it felt about as heavy as my iPhone 6 Plus.

Living dangerously I see, do that long enough and your battery might just get damaged and lose it's capacity sooner than later.

Not for me. For me it's all about weight and dimensions. Smaller and lighter is the prefer choice for me, that's why I am still on 5SE.

Just got the i8. Here are my thoughts.

iPhone 6 Plus (naked) - 175g
iPhone 8 (naked) - 155g

Supports fast charge - Yes, rated ~5V/1.7A at 30% battery level. iP7 does about ~1.2A.

Using an Anker 4-port wall charger with ugreen (50cm) cable.
