Same! Just got the phone yesterday. I am using spigen ultra hybrid 2. The red one. Got some form of protection yet still can see the red.

Decided to get the Red 8 plus. The red really is quite nice and black front is cool. Choose it over X because the screen while all smaller just seems larger when in use and always prefer finger print scanner to Face ID and of course the price difference.

Walked past Compass One's nubox and saw these on display. The red is super red, looks like blood haha. I think it looks brighter than as you can see on the second pic, due to the lighting couldn't take a proper representation of it haha. But it sure looks sleek with the black front!
