So how is iPhone 8? Any user review? Maybe from 6S or 7? Whether there's anything new

the true tone display look nicer though just like the ip7+, only the plus version have HD display. The camera is where you will see the biggest difference in terms of significantly better picture quality. The processor is also faster and more powerful but this only evident if you use certain more intensive apps like AR. The new portrait studio feature is only available on the new ip8+. Plus got wireless charging and fast charging. Former can work with any Qi charger, latter requires their own special charger that is NOT INCLUDED with the phone

Yup have just gotten the space grey 8 though! Have got to say the glass back feels very premium. And the phone is really snappy so far with the A11 chip.

i'm considering between P10 Plus and the Iphone 8 plus. After trying the phones at the shops, it seems to me that the Huawei P10 Plus Camera is still superior, especially when trying out the Portrait Modes. The wide lens kind of trumps Apple by a whole lot.

Since you have used both phones, whats your thoughts on it? I believe iOS is always better than Android, but the camera on P10 Plus seems way way better when i compare the photos i take at the store.

I can only say you’ve yet to fully play with the camera and FYI, iPhone 8 Plus camera is not marketed as a wide angle camera.

FYI, this is what Apple (falsely?) represents on their website - "12-megapixel wide-angle and telephoto cameras".

It is not wide-angle, at least when compared to other phones, esp the LG V30, but I can see how it is more wide-angle than the telephoto camera it has. Can't really say this is misleading marketing, but it certainly calls into question the underlying reason behind the choice of juxtaposition used.

Btw, iPhone 8 Plus 256GB model is now going at $148 below recommended retail price at street shops!
