Initially feel the phone small but after 1 day plus of using seems ok. Super mario run really made full use of the screen. I like. Slowly apps will jump on board n be optimised to work with the X

Hi all,

I will be heading down to collect my iPhone X, having mix feeling to do so, due to the size. Thou display is bigger than plus, but not sure if I will like it. I will head over to the display set and try out, if not will cancel my order.

Anything to look out for when checking the fone? Comestic flaw aside. Heard some of u said having blue shift, tinted blue when viewing straight, etc etc

Does anyone have difficulty using Face ID while seated and having your phone on the table? It seemed like the scanning angle cannot reach your face.

Angle is hit and miss. You need straight on.

But then, that is so much face id can do now. In fact, apple face ID is the most advance ever in a smartphone.

My face half covered by pillow in bed also can unlock. So long as you're looking at the phone can liao.

Think Craig also said if you wear sunglasses also can unlock, tried that out myself and it works too!

But wear those beauty facial mask cannot unlock lol

I hope they bring back touch id via the side button. if sony can do apple can do also.

Not just Sony. Note8 also have fingerprint recognition, face recognition and iris recognition....

But I doubt Apple will bring back its touch id.

Cable charging > Wireless charging for sure.
It’s definitively faster...at least with an iPad charger
oh then better off with cable charging.. so whats the hype on wireless charging? lol

so to have fast charge, what is the cheapest product to get? excluding the usb-c to lightning cable that cost $34.

no what I mean is, apple should have just integrated touch id to the side button just like sony phones to their power button. its easier for apple pay users double clicking the side button then authenticates immediately if it has fingerprint sensor on it.

Could be that they don’t want to compromise on the accuracy of Touch ID. That side fingerprint reader on Sony phones only reads a very small area of your finger. I doubt that’s gonna be very accurate, no other manufacturer went that route either.
