Does anyone have difficulty using Face ID while seated and having your phone on the table? It seemed like the scanning angle cannot reach your face.

If your mouth cannot be seen by the FaceID camera, it will fail. You can probably experiment a little on how much you need to lean over for it to work

I will be heading down to collect my iPhone X, having mix feeling to do so, due to the size. Thou display is bigger than plus, but not sure if I will like it. I will head over to the display set and try out, if not will cancel my order.

Anything to look out for when checking the fone? Comestic flaw aside. Heard some of u said having blue shift, tinted blue when viewing straight, etc etc

if you are coming from plus. and having mixed feelings. chances are you will not like it. the target audience of X is non-plus users.

you will not get those extra buttons that you get on a plus.

X is jus a non-plus + bunny ears + a bit more display at the bottom resulting in a taller display.

Coming from 7 Plus, the battery life from my usage is 1 hour lesser, otherwise its really a nice phone to handle due to its form factor, just need more apps to be optimised for the notch.

Idk is it not fully compatible, that why I am checking with you guys.

The Samsung wirelsss charger is EP-NG930. I let it charge overnight and iPhone X already show 100% full charge in the morning but Samsung wireless charger LED indicator is still blue (charging) not green (full charge)

Initially, I placed my order online with a otter case. The otter case came 1st. I held the case and feel that the size seems alright to me. The plus is slightly big for me, but it’s the screen of the plus that I like.

When I held onto the iPhone X casing, I feel the size seems ok, in fact better as my thumb can reach from bottom to at least 3/4 of the phone size. Perhaps what worry me is the apps not optimised and everything become smaller...

I come from a plus size too, and to me the x size is more comfortable in terms of typing and holding. Screen reading size wise, feels no difference to me. I still have the iPhone 5 too, and that’s really a pain to read and type.

Cable charging > Wireless charging for sure.
It’s definitively faster...at least with an iPad charger
