Don't even have to tap to wake. Just bring up the iPhone X and then slide up the lockscreen. It will feel naturally.

That's if you've Raise to Wake enabled, no? I personally will not activate that for fear of unintended "raises" waking the phone unnecessarily.

LOL To think you even believe in Huawei NPU hype. There is no mobile chip right now that can beat A11. Not even Huawei upcoming Kirin 970.

Other than iPhone X, I believe people missed out another major breakthrough which is the new GPU designed by Apple.

so far Apple only used it for their camera related applications + Face ID. I would like to see how others would use the power for AI.

Huawei already been using Machine Learning to save battery. no one knows whether it really works.

They did not. But benchmarks came out on their own after the keynote how the A11 beats SD chips for breakfast and reportedly even faster than current gen Macbook Pros.

market share wise, we all know Apple is never #1.

It's obvious Apple won't be the number 1 smartphone in shipped quantities, when all they want to is capture the "higher-end spectrum".

China and India will buy in tons of mid-range phones, but those margins not that good either.

And it goes to show when a company needs to compare it's result against another company.

Apple is still in that situation for watch, when they need to compare to watch brands to validate their product.

And it's not surprising that they can overtake Rolex in terms of "shipped" quantities, but they won't come close to the margins Rolex is making either.
