me too.. trolled it before 3 till 3:05 but still down.

managed to ordered ard 3:07 in the site since I saw a few people here successful orders since 3:01.

For me the whole pre-order process was quite smooth through the app. The App came online past 3.02 and within a minute I was done with it.

Saw a post that iphone 9 next yr will have iphone X features. Price wise will be much lower. Just like hope iphone 2 > 3 is.

Anyway... next yr even Sony is going full display mode... should see how apple going to design the iphone 9.

lower price but using lcd instead of oled screen, most likely processors upgrade and some other stuff too

I do not mind using LCD. I love my current iphone 8 display. Still can't get use to AMOLED.

don't think Apple is going back to LCD. it's too thick and not battery efficient. but Apple's LCD has the best color as well as viewing angles. and OLED supposedly cheaper to produce.

i must have missed the Japan Display news.

to me as long as the colors are right. and not saturated for the sake of selling more units. display is the most important component on the phone. if it is flawed, you will be reminded and laughed at whenever the display is looking back at you.

that is why major sites pulled their Pixel 2 XL reviews. HWZ still showing the reviews though.

Don’t think that is true. Online purchase is separate from walk in. You don’t even need to give your AppleID for walk in.

By the way, I was at the Apple Store earlier. There’s a bunch of Vietnamese resellers already camping outside. The staff said they been there since 4 days ago. And they got reinforcements for (another 20+) coming in over the next few days. The Apple Store staff says if you queue, good chance you can get one

because i was at apple store yesterday, the staff ask me if i order online, coz if i order online, i may not be allow to walk in purchase, as each person is only allow 2 sets.

meaning, when u buy online they may ask for ID

well i not sure yet.
