Is anyone using and loving the "Show notifications only when unlocked" on the iPhone X?

i like the feature but when i’m at my desk, the phone is usually half an arm’s length away and having to unlock to see my text messages is quite odd

U don't know can tap once to wake the screen

can tap but not unlocked so msgs cannot see
i disabled the feature becos of this

Not bad! One week after launch based on my apps, there are already 17 apps using FaceID for login. Yes, some apps still show as TouchID but it work with FaceID just fine!

my display is erratic..
today suddenly it shows heavy blue tint (true tone off)
i tried adjusting brightness ... it becomes ok... and will go back to blue tint again...
so weird... yesterday was perfect white...
yesterday was all ok.... (opened it only yesterday)

Guys, a bit of my alcohol wipes alcohol went under the tempered glass, I used a sharp paper to remove the bit of alcohol, will it leave unremovable stain later? Please advise.

Not sure if device fault or iOS, but Face ID is rather unstable at times. Sometimes will just outright fail to recognise my face, then must force restart then it’ll be back to normal

This is the first device that I had to restart so many times due to Face ID not working properly at moments.

I did reset Face ID too. To be clear, when Face ID works it works almost everytime but not sure if software is causing it sometimes it just refuses to work.

Sounds like a hardware issue. If I were you, I try to see if there is a way to reproduce this issue and get an exchange

Shouldn't. Alcohol evaporates very fast

As long its Blue its fine and not yellow

Its shifting to blue and yellow...

Yellow tint i was able to compare from display set in singtel

tap to wake happens way too frequent given that it is an edge to edge display.

Hey all just to check - previously on my other iPhones and ipad, the battery will have a “plug” icon once it is fully charged. However, my iPhone X constantly only shows “lightning” icon as though it is still charging even though it’s 100% . Is this a new “feature” in ios11 ?

There’s the flashlight and camera shortcut buttons on the lock screen but I can’t activate the apps.. Anyone knows how this works?
