My X usually stays at 100% overnight too, connected to wifi. But if used until around 90+% before I sleep, at most also drop 2-3% overnight.

I still dont get it the difference of switching on/off for background refresh. Can someone pls englighten me? Because all the while inuse 6 plus and 7 plus, the background refresh was switch on

Doesn't matter if the faceID is hacked or what, they are more than secure enough. When toucdID first came out, a lot of people also tried to hack it. And then 2 months later, everything back to normal. lol

incoming ringtone is loud but will soften when i lift up my iphone x

on 11.1.1

anyone having these issues?

Ringtone becoming soft is an attention feature of iPhone X.

Not sure about alarm.

anyways about battery and apps

You don't need to close apps on your iPhone

Closing unused apps on your iPhone won't improve its battery life.

when it's on, it will periodically (based on yr usage patterns) check for updates (e.g. yr FB/Twitter timeline) so that when u open e app e info is already there compared to e app needing to refresh e feed when u open it (background app refresh disabled)

Those who say didn’t drop, were u all at 100%? Cos mine won’t drop overnight at 100%.

I had it happen to me before. seems like battery meter was buggy. I drained it n charge to full so far hasn't happened again.

Iphone X is the first iphone I don't charge overnight. even with back ground refresh on at home wifi, only 2-3% loss when not used from 12-7am.

If its off, and my background is cleared. Will I received notifications on new msg on whatsapp,msges and others?

Even if you off background refresh you still will be getting notifications for whatsapp, line etc.

Is it better to get AC or the telco mobile swap? Not sure if the telco mobile swap allows any exchange of phone if screen cracks?

Overnight it shouldn’t drop by > 10%, assuming you never wake up the phone and there is no Apps running, background refresh off. My iPhone 8 from 12am until 7am, battery can maintain at 100%, some days ard 98-99%.

Perhaps it’s due to the YouTube app?

Mine didn’t really drop any % over night. You probably have some rouge apps.

have u tried draining e battery to 0 then let it charge up again? also try closing all apps n widgets. something is running rogue.

my background refresher are off and my apps and widgets are killed, i am totally lost here the battery life just drop over the night.

That’s unexpected, but none as weird as my apps got all turned on for background app refresh overnight.

I turned some off while leaving the critical ones turned on, this morning I check suddenly all turned on. Lost 3% over night..
