POSB everyday mastercard charges overseas fee of at least 2.5%. So if you do not have a trust card, apply for one now. Take about 1 week to get your card, in time for your trip in May. If you need a referral code, can PM me, both of us can get free NTUC vouchers, LOL.
Since POSB mastercard charge 2.5% for overseas transactions, I may consider to get a TRUST card. I am travelling coming May. Thanks.

To add on, Bank of Taiwan (BOT) also has no fee on ATM withdrawal. Anyone else know what other banks without ATM withdrawal fees?
to be clear for others,
we're referring to TRUST card here,
i believe many are zero fees.
I've tried the yellow&green (paiseh can't rem bank name) atms inside xmd mtr and there's no charge. No need to purposely look for BOT atm anymore.
Just be careful you gotta choose "defer conversion" during the last step.
Can withdraw nt100 first and check your Trust app to see what's the rate before proceeding to withdraw more.

Utrip, revolut: monthly limitsfor free withdraw: yes, no fees on selected atms
Trust: no monthly limits and no fees on selected atms.

No bank charges for atm withdrawal. Stick to Bank of Taiwan and Mega Bank and you will be fine. When withdrawing, remember to select Saving account and not credit card else it will be an cash advance subjected to hefty charges and interest.

thought taiwan atm max is 20,000?
In Taiwan, ATM withdrawal limits typically range from 20,000 to 40,000 New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) per day. However, these limits can vary based on the specific bank and your own bank's rules.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • General Range:
Most ATMs in Taiwan have daily withdrawal limits between 20,000 and 40,000 NTD.

  • Bank and Card Specific:
The exact limit will depend on the ATM operator (local bank) and the rules of your own bank/card issuer.

  • Example:
For instance, E.SUN Bank's ATMs may have a single withdrawal limit of NT$50,000 (or up to 50 bills), with a daily limit of NT$150,000.

  • Other Limits:
Some debit cards, like those offered by Chunghwa POST, may have specific limits for overseas withdrawals, domestic and overseas purchases.

  • Fees:
Be aware that ATMs in Taiwan may charge fees per transaction, and your home bank may also impose its own fees.

  • Minimizing Costs:
To reduce fees, consider making fewer, larger withdrawals and looking for cards that offer fee reimbursements or favorable exchange rates.
