not everyone would be impressed but i certainly am. it's just plain noodles i ordered, twd40 nia (small portion),
but the seasoning and texture of the noodles is totally to my liking!

apparently, according to what some locals told me, alot of shops get bad ratings for lousy service..... not lousy food
so, if someone recommend you to eat something and you see lousy ratings.... better to scroll the reviews and see why its lousy

i find it consider near if staying xmd.
i will always stay those super near to exit one, not those 5-10min walk one.

somehow some pple always search tio 10 years old info/recommendation and i believe still many pple go for Rainbow Hotel. Harky is one of them liao lor.
and my fren, xmas eve jio me go Shilin market.
i say 2022 liao, who still go Shilin夜市? 你自己去囉！

there's soooo many, it depends on your budget too, there lok kok ones to 3-5 star hotels, all v near nia.
You can use google map to search Ximen Mtr Stn then from there zoom in to see and look at the reviews.
booking.com and agoda also have their own map, similar functions.

For me i would always put Hotel Puri as first choice (if u don't mind the non-existence sound proof),
then Hotel Tomorrow or Hotel Timbo if budget tight.
I've stayed in this Cheers Loft before too. this one is near exit 1. the room is v big.

Rainbow really not very popular already compare to before. That's why you see now they always have room available. In the past very hard to book I stopped going to shilin ever since they move those stall to underground.....

precisely! ever since donkey yrs ago they moved to underground it just got worse n worse, no more wasting time to go there.

Today's rate is good! 22.72 BOT after deducting $5 admin fee for youtrip.

Tried to withdraw 20k this morning via other 3 bank atm around my hotel. They say not enough funds and rejected so I assume rates were super lousy. BOT rates the best!

great, i will try to withdraw on my trip this thursday when i reach TY airport

Just to confirm. The purpose of pairing up is so that there are no atm fees when withdrawing from atm. For all other purposes, like paying hotel, buy train tickets, etc, pairing is not required. The exchange rate is not affected by whether paired or not ya? I notice with pairing, the credit card becomes a debit card, money straight away deduct from savings a/c the moment you transact.

Used Trust card to buy some train tickets from TRA. Came to TWD880. Deducted from my savings a/c SGD 38.58. Fx rate = 22.8.
