OMG .. Whole day I am seeing at wrong column. Thanks for informing. Anyway tomorrow Kaohsiung declare as non-working day so I cannot go to the bank and exchange as well.

A form need to fill up and they request to see passport.They will give U the exact amount till the last dollar.

Need to apply for Record of ID(統一證號). It only took me less then 5 mins to complete everything and u need to fill in a taiwan address and u can just simply fill put your hotel address.

In taipei, I went to 台北市中正区广州街15号 to apply for the Record of ID.

Apply Record of ID from the bank you mean? If troublesome, i will ask my Taiwan friend to use his ID to change for me. Maybe local easier.

Heard that Taiwan bank will charge some transactional cost if there's no activities in the account for a period of time.

Every month deposit/withdraw $$$ sure got transcation!!!
