Airport rates will never be better than anywhere. SG money changers have one of the most competitive rates anyway, don't bother changing in Taiwan when you can get the same here...easier and safer la

If you are gonna to change at Taiwan Airport. Choose Maga bank instead of Taiwan bank as the rate is slightly better. Take note that there is a handling fee of NT30. However if you have some NT with you now, I would suggest you to go to DBS Taiwan to change as the rate is the highest among the rest and there is no handling fees involve.

i just got back from a trip. i would recommend changing in taiwan.

I changed 1k sgd at arcade people's shop on 24/09 at 23.58.
On 28/09 i changed at DBS TW at 23.698.

That's good. As I always say, changing in DBS TW gives the best rate and it's proven by some of us including myself. Just too bad for those who choose not to believe.

is the bank easy to spot, i am afraid i cant find.
and is there a limit of amount that a person can change?

The list of the bank location is as follows:

You can go to any of the branch which you think is more accessible to you. The signboard is what we have in Singapore. Red board so I think it should be quite easy to spot. As for the limit, I am not sure. If you intend to change alot, maybe you can give them a call first?

But must activate your card right? If not cannot withdraw. This is what my camp mate encounter during Apr when we were at KHH for our ICT.

Yap activation required for all local ATM cards after the big fiasco of oversea withdrawal by a foreign syndicate using Sgd ATM card.
