Anyone tried before changing at this Mega Bank before?

What u want to know?

Reach taiwan, mostly pplp will change at Mega Bank or Bank of Taiwan.

Other banks except DBS Taiwan mostly only accepted 5 types of foreign currency in cash (except TT):-

- USD
- HKD
- Yen
- Euro $
- China RMB

actually the easy method to exchange money is @ airport or else DBS tw branch~

wanted to change on my money on the first day but the DBS branch closes early (my flight land around 1.30pm) and around my hotel area (XMD) don't seems to have DBS branch. So now trying to find which is the next bank that offers best rates. I remember changing at Megabank 5 years ago so not sure whether they still provide the service (and good rates) =)

similar to peterho comment~ i not sure they let u exchange SGD anot~ because when i heard from dbs tw staff~ they are one of few who allow u exchange sgd to twd~

And of course if you need last min shopping cash, pls note shopping centres do not accept sgd, only major currencies.
So need to use cc liao.

mega bank does change sgd to ntd but rate is ard 23.3+ only

just changed SGD to NT @ NT$23.29 at Taoyuan airport...

did that while waiting for luggage to be out.. very convenient..

dont worry~ there are money changer open around in T2 when scoot arrives~ if u cannot find/lazy to find~ you can always find one of their staff there and ask for direction~ they are very friendly

Christmas is not their public holiday leh. Sure open for you de. If CNY, then i think still open de la.
