I am at taoyuan airport. Saw the money changer b4 immigration was 21.74
Will be going tw this nov? From my understanding so far, its better to:
1) change a small sum in sg
2) change the remaining at tao yuan airport before immigration?
Not sure if my thinking is correct or not. Anyone can help enlighten? Thanks
My pov is: Change all in Taiwan.

I'm going in Nov too, will be changing in TW airport as well. Unless between now till 11/11 the rate in SG shoots up miraculously....![]()
how much do you usually change? 7 days 6 nights?
consider air tic and hotel all settled by cc.
Difficult to say, basically is S$100 per day per pax. If you are big shopper or party animal then you need more.![]()
on scoot, not buying much other than someone introduced the noodles at carrefour.

I cater about S$75 a day per pax nia, for Asia trips. Even Japan oso... I think it's actually a bit overbudget when I go tw/hk. So towards end of trip I always will splurge a bit on food coz got spare $$$... Maybe coz my friend and I usually don't shop. Usually just walk, see, eat. If really suddenly need to impromptu buy anything that cost more than what I budgeted for, I'll use CC...

S$75 a day per pax should be enough, but if you are with a shopper, I tell you sure have to bring more or pay by cc.
Man is simple, lady 100% shopper.
I hear say pay by cc also alright. In fact better exchange rate.
