Wanted to confirm this.

THe DBS website states that withdrawal from DBS TW ATMs is free for some Mastercard cards - the POSB Go card is in that category. This means that it is cheaper to do an ATM withdrawal, than exchange physically at the branch where there is a fee? And ATMs can be accessed during weekends as well.

No fees: Yes.
What rate will it be based on: big question mark.
Sg rate or Tw rate.

Thanks! With the 1% transaction fee, it should still be better to do ATM, notwithstanding the difference in the SG and TW rate, and esp changing in small amounts.

Looking forward to your update on whether based on SG or TW DBS rate.

Looking forward to your update on whether based on SG or TW DBS rate.

Just called the DBS hotline. They said it is based on the card provider's rate and not DBS' exchange rate.

Just did a quick search of Mastercard's rate. It is about 21.41 (using their online calculator), which is even higher than DBS TW at 21.226!

Hopefully there's no hidden catch which i have missed.

Do you have the website's reference?
