actually I can't quite understand why do people change their TWD in Singapore instead of Taoyuan when the rate has always been better over at Taoyuan? There must be something that I'm not getting???

Maybe scare that the rates will go bad upon reaching Taoyuan...

As for the best rate in sg, I can only recommend you more popular money changers in Singapore (in which I see ultra long queue one).
1) Suntec (near to the escalator going to basement)
2) Arcade
3) Jurong Point (ground floor near to interchange)
4) CCK Lot 1 (3rd or 4th floor)
5) Chinatown (but personally I feel that the rates not that gd there)

I am flying off on Friday morning and haven't pack my luggage yet. So thinking should i just skip all the hassle of traveling to Suntect/Arcade and just change straight at Taoyuan.
