23.4 to 23.45.

Seems like their margin has grown bigger over the months. Last year when the spot rate was around 24.1, the money changers were offering 23.7 to 23.8.

There is a branch in taoyuan city but then it might be out of the way. Normally we will head to taipei n sought it out.

Nope, rates out of the airport at Taiwan DBS is the best..Sometimes rates at Taoyuan might be better than SG..This depends..

And no, airport withdrawal does not give u a better rate..Like what calkel mention, nt sure they use which rate also..

If you're around Taipei and dont mind going to the bank and change, just change some in SG then the rest there..

Usually i wont use ATM card cos i will have 200-300 spare SGD in the wallet just in case NT runs low..If going to purchase big ticket items at shopping malls then just a cashback CC...

Singapore dollars are accepted in Major banks. For Shopping centres, they will exchange only YEN, CNY,USD, EUR and GBP. The 5 top currencies.

Taiwan dbs is calling u to change there. Best rate of all. If not then Singapore arcade or taiwan airport liao.
