is there a limit to the number of transactions or top-ups per day by Credit Card ?

I know promo rebate is capped at $0.50 per month per EZ Link card

note: maximum rewards is $2 per card per month, i.e. 4 times top-up per card per month for July, Aug, Sep, Oct. The reward is for top-up to EZLink Card and not for top-up to EZLink Wallet. The card top-up must be performed using the App, not by using the MRT GTM machine.

https://www.ezlink.com.sg/top-up-via-the-ez-link-app-earn-cashback

I used my credit card to do 4 X $10 top-up to one EzLink card within the same day, no problem. Last month, I also do the same for a second EzLink card.

Just bought a new ezlink card.

There is an option to top up with the EZ link wallet.

But there is no option to top up with the EZ link wallet if your EZ link card is upgraded to use account based transaction.

"Upgraded" means going to the GTM to "upgrade" EZ Link card to "account based" (ie SimplyGo). However, that physical EZ card can no longer be used for car parks & ERP payment

... this "upgrade" is kind of a "downgrade" for me, so I did not do it

... but the 0.50 is like a 2.5% rebate on $20 top up, so could make sense for others

CC with EZ function not eligible for that promo

But if account based is like SimplyGo then it defeats the purpose of topup :s11:
Those non bank Ezlink card not linked to a bank account, how to work like SimplyGo? I'm confused :s22:

yes as it is not a abt ez-link and it cannot be converted also.

u need a plain vanilla ez-link to do so. if u really crave that 50c and do the irreversible action of converting to ABT (makes ok sense if you don't drive). i don't want to restrict my card cannot use for UI and ERP so i don't find the need to change it over a 50c promo

exactly. I don't understand how is store value card upgraded to account based :s11:
Can still do topup after "upgrade"?

Can still top up

but cannot use for ERP & Carpark

I think bus/mrt transactions will appear in the SimplyGo app for "easier" tracking ... mayb thats the "upgrade" ?

... at the gantry, the fare will no longer show (which may annoy some)

It is upgrade that your card is now just like any other card, no longer a stored value card.

your account information is stored on the server, rather than the card.

Theoretically, the value can be moved around and tagged with other card. So no expiry and no need to be afraid of loss of card.

This also means there (should) be a slight lag just like other SimplyGo cards.
