If you are already using the EZ-Link App and EZ-Link wallet, you can see the new option "Pay By Wallet" pending for your activation. This is the new Mastercard function which provide the virtual16-digit card number which can be used like a prepaid debit card. There is currently a promotion which give cashback bonus $5 if you activate it, and another $5 if you spend minimum $10 using the mastercard.

It is known as 'Pay by Wallet".

Tap on the 'Pay by Wallet' banner in your EZ-Link Wallet. Tap on “Activate Now”. Verify your information via SingPass. (Once this step is successful, a mastercard will be created within the EZ-Link Wallet)

I tried few times, after Singpass registration done, the Card did not appear. it just ask me register again and prompt me "you have already registered".:LOL:

Wordings “Pay by Wallet” >

you shld see a credit card there?

or delete ez-link app and re-install again?

Hi, I activated the Pay By Wallet and receive the first $5 sign-up bonus successfully. But now I am wondering where/how I can get the second $5 credit (with min $10 ELIGIBLE payments within 30 days - *Cashback will not be issued for transactions made for gambling, top-ups, transit and bill payments) since my phone doesn't have NFC (ie cannot use Google Pay ???) which restricts/forbids a lot of transactions using the Pay By Wallet? Any one in the know with any suggestions / advice? Many thanks...

Using the virtual 16-digit prepaid debit card, I have recently charged a small amount above $10 to buy some stuff at one of the shopping sites. The payment transaction is successful with the mastercard payment authentication,etc and the amount is deducted from my EZ-Link wallet balance. But I am still waiting for this 2nd cashback bonus $5. I guess they need some time to verify if my payment is eligible, I will contact them if I don't get this $5. This is unlike the 1st cashback bonus $5 which is immediately credited upon activation of mastercard 'Pay By Wallet'.

The T&Cs seem to indicate that you need to use the 'Pay by Wallet' function (ie pay via Mastercard) to get the $5 reward. Gongcha & OCK is by scanning the QR code.

I used it on Saturday, got the $5 today. It probably needs to wait for the transaction to 'clear' before the reward is given.
