Thank you all for the suggestions, advice and sharing above. Will post back here and share my experience if I manage to get the second $5 credit successfully (for transaction online but avoiding the many exclusions since I can't make the min $10 payment in-store / can't scan QR code / can't use Google Pay without NFC on my phone)

i just tried to buy 2x$5 NTUC Voucher and i tried to use GPay linked to the pay by wallet but the cashier say NTUC cannot use Gpay? but there is huge sticker at the below the counter showing GPay is accepted?

should i just say PayWave, then just wave GPay linked to pay by wallet?

Like what you said. They only need to click paywave on their cashier machine. They don't need to know you gpay or whatever pay.

download the NTUC app, and link your google pay that is linked to your pay by wallet. then scan the QR code generated by the NTUC app to pay

Customer service for EZ-Link is near non existent

booked SIA tickets with the card. Double deduction and they won’t remove the pending charge. Ticket already issued and there was another deduction after 3 working days
FYI pending charge they deduct the wallet balance immediately. Pending charge more than 2 weeks not removed

SIA customer service unreachable wait on the phone more than 30 mins

E z link doesn’t have customer service

So, basically, you are saying that the process is working as expected for a debit card, re: credit hold.

Not sure what you expect customer service on both EZ-Link & SQ side to do, since this is exactly what is supposed to happen. The money from the first deduction will eventually be returned to you when the credit hold is released, which can take up to a month.

Hi, as promised above, I'm here to share my experience regarding the second $5 credit. After I got the first $5 credit (which was instantaneous btw), I charge $10 via my M1 app (ie not via AXS which is on the exclusion list) - I thought everything should be ok since M1 bill payment via M1 app is not on the exclusion list for other promotions eg: say the monthly Grab promotions. But no - the $10 was deducted from my wallet immediately but the status was reflected as pending (same as battledome64 above) even 3 weeks later. I decided not to wait any longer (there is a 30 day expiry period after the first $5 credit). Thanks to the suggestion by Aaagogo above, I added the card details to my Fairprice app and make another $10 payment from my Fairprice purchase. I received the second $5 credit the next day and surprise surprise, my Fairprice transaction somehow "triggered" and changed the status of my M1 transaction from pending to successful overnight as well. Anyone knows the reason for the "trigger" ?

Moral of the story : If your transaction shows "pending" even after a few days, you may like to do a different transaction instead? Btw my CPF payment (Medisave) is due soon (for self-employed). Does any of you here have any tips & tricks / hacks to get some form of card rewards / cashback for CPF payments (CPF is not listed as a merchant on AXS nor SAM)? Many thanks in advance ...

I have a large transaction that wasn't captured (authorised only), and eventually cancelled by the merchant on 17 May.

It's still pending as well.

It's best not to use this card at merchants that don't capture the charge immediately, like for hotel deposits.

Anyone got "Review in Progess" after you activated Pay by Wallet?

Applied yesterday still in "Review" while my wife applied today and got instantaneous approval with $5 rewards.

Am guessing your wallet balance doesn’t reflect correctly right?
Have you tried contacting Ezlink?

thot this EZ Link is limited .. best to check still valid ...

for FP App
- store your Link Card & usual CCs on the App
- at Checkout, after items are scanned (be self check out or cashier), click on "Payment"
- select "Pay With" (ie via CC, GiftCard, GooglePay, Redeem LinkPoints) or just go with the default
- a QR will appear, show it to Cashier to Scan ... then done

there is also a "Scan n Go" function but only available at some stores

Check for App specific promo, i recall my first App txn was given 2x Link Points, and during Hari Ray, given 100 free LP

but dont think u need App to get this EZ promo ... can top Gift Card, or pay Telco
