If you ever tried to measure the sickleflow, you will realise that the sound pressure is never still unlike other fans. It keeps going up and down.

Sounds like a recipe for short lifespan.

There is an entire army of thermal paste that's better than NT-H1.

NT-H1 is one of the B- thermal paste in the market right now.

Top intake fan dilemma

top should be exhaust fan not intake right? unless you're water cooling and putting your radiator on top?

but still hot air rises, so should go with the flow instead of blowing hot air into the casing?

Tks for pointing out. I m still experimenting with the positioning of fans in my chassis to get the ideal temp.

Btw saw yr post with rdgs to yr temp experiment.I muz say a good writeup n prove beneficial to HWZ forumers:)

i guess a the end of the day, theory on hot air rises only get you to the starting point, in the end still need to experiment and record down temperatures to see which one is better, because there are alot of variables at play that affects temperature. :)

since this is up, trick question, are there any 135/140 mm fans with 120mm screw holes? :o:o

edit: nvrmind. checked the 140mm roundup @xbitlabs and found a few... :o
