another mention 7 yrs warranty:s11::s11::s11:
:eek::eek:
so confusing

The warranty normally differs from country to country, i bought mine at dynacore sls, they told me techdynamic normally do 5 years ah. But idk. 3-5years for a $150 psu, good enough liao lo, even if the PSU spoil in 3-5 years, i would rather grab a new psu than to do the RMA process.

If stocks are distributed from TechDynamic, why not refer to their webpage ? You trust google more than the actual distro ?

trying to find out how reliable the information is from various sources
some resellers might not be getting from local distro esp from online platforms you never know where the stocks are from so best to see what is accurate
best is to see what the manufacturer offers direct and how the distro honors

It does not matter if manufacturer offer higher warranty yrs than distro coz if u buy locally, u follow local distro t&c which includes warranty period.

If not happy, u are free to buy from overseass set but local distro need not entertain your rma request since u nvr buy from them.

Think use 650w for many years liao bought together when ryzen was launch in sg.

Also hard to tell if it's good or not tbh. Don't have tools nor equipment to stress test it, but so far no issue.

Local distro should be 5yrs warranty. Lower tier model could have reduced number of years for warranty.

local is 5 years, other countries is 7 years....

i never heard of superflower before but
i bought my 1st superflower through hwzer recommendation....on 24/7 np....the fan don't even need to spin....0 noise.... voltage very stable...no lag etc.

Recently i bought another 1 for second pc........if psu can survive more than 5 years, i felt already worth.....

if u want those 10 years warranty...can look for CORSAIR. But personally, i trust the actual users feedback for reliability....as going thr the rma is trouble some...

Just buy seasonic PSU. COmes with 10 year warranty for most product, although frankly, if use more than 5 years I won't bother to RMA, just change PSU.

precisely need to feel happy and it matters a lot
manufacturer warranty is a sign of their belief in their built quality

if manufacturer offer 10 yrs but local only 1 yr then the choice is obvious to either choose another brand or source elsewhere

all the more warranty comes into play
long time ago had a failing psu caused 2 of my hdd to fry
the common troubleshooting way was to swap around the cables to test and the bloody cable fried 2 hdd

sf is really good.

my original sf was running 24/7, in its 4th or 5th year before I gave it away when I downsized to mITX.

If I were to get a PSU locally, would be Seasonic Focus+ or SF Leadex

corsair had such pride in their psu that they extend warranty from 7yrs to 10yrs
my existing one bought 10 yrs ago was 7yrs warranty and starting to fail
never had to claim any warranty though
was looking at the rmx but always oos
now looking for something cheaper
