thanks :)

just changed my tyre today. stick to 15" (hankook v12)

i'm driving the manual, going up steep slope (or mscp) i'll downshift to 1st gear...then 2nd gear when travelling to the other ramp...very tiring :o

will try those techniques like freewheeling and monitor the fc with this set of new tyres
Haha. Sometimes, i'd prefer a manual over the duologic. But after getting caught in jams, the duologic is worth it! :p

drove a fiat punto cabriolet in 2002.

Was a 4 years old car.

The car breaks down every month with different problems and spare parts are expensive and hard to find.

On the very last day of driving it, the second day i am picking up my new car, it just refuses to start in a carpark.

Maybe it knows i am gonna scarp it!!!!!!

And i only drives it for 1-1/2 years, with regular maintenance every half year when i was with it.

that will be the last time i am gonna drive a fiat no matter how attractive it looks!

Actually ok la.. the older generation Fiats are problematic. Partially also due to the hot weather in SG, it's just not made for such continuous hot driving day in day out.
But the Fiats nowadays are way much better, driving mine for 1yr+ and so far no problems, plus it's coming to be 3 yr old soon.

yeap so far mine also no serious problem.....just the usual wear and tear and normal servicing....now gasket/oil seal starting to leak etc but i guess its usual wear and tear in almost any car....

i'm beginning to love 'her' more and more as time passes.....got used already :s13:

Fiat Fiorino Van - Clutch replacement $1.8K?

I have a semi-auto Fiat Fiorino 1.3 that I suspect requires clutch pad replacement. A workshop quoted me a total of $1800 for changing clutch kit with bearing ($500+), flywheel ($700+), clutch fluid, gear oil, calibration and labour ($500+). Is this reasonable?

Sounds reasonable. Which workshop is this? My last actuator repair at TTS cost almost $2000.
