Good morning gents! Don't say I bo jio ah! :)

FiiO X1 preview world tour--open for application! 3-14 August

-------------------------------

Fiio X1 is the upcoming budget DAP (MSRP: 100 USD) by Fiio after their successful X3 and X5. The X1 is designed to be small and yet be able to play lossless files but it will not have any USB DAC features like the X3 or the X5.

For more details, see here: FiiO X1, the most portable and affordable high resolution DAP from FiiO ( updated on 9/5/2014 )

Hahaha, post first talk later :s13: I most probably going for either the X3 or the X5 also due to my usage patterns...

depending on its sound signature, it might be a good replacement to fuze or clip users - like me! :D

Been eyeing this player since the X1 thread first appeared in head fi.

Just need an affordable player that can play flac decently and this is perfect.

I have also been eyeing this DAP ever since it was announced as it happens to be the only one in the market that fulfills all my requirements:

1) Cheap (about US$100)

2) Lineout

3) Neutral sound signature (that's what FiiO said they were aiming for)

4) Compact

5) Designed for earphones (decent power, can drive sensitive earphones well)

6) Expandable memory

We're probably 1-2 months away from the global rollout.

Hmmm seems like quite a fair bit of interest here... Why not all of us go for the tour? :)

Actually, as long as one Singaporean gets it, the rest can easily try out the player, as long as the guy who gets it is willing to hold an audition, and the rest of us just need to bring along our own micro sd card.

7 pages leow... Wonder how many more pages will happen before the day ends.

There are at least 14 Sgporeans amongst the 70+ (or low 80, guesstimate based on post #s) applicants...
