dont worry as long as ur chop, tick or cross near party logo.
respective counting agents from each side will fight for your vote to be valid.

even a tick in the correct place can be considered valid as long as all the counting agents agree.

But I thought the returning officer or assistant returning officer and his own staff have the final say?

I had performance anxiety.

My booth had some scrap paper with XXX all over the place so I obliged and test fired a few shots.

After that I read the ballot slip carefully, even using my fingers to trace names to logo before carefully zeroing the chop and placing a perfect X right in the middle of the box.

Very proud to have done my civic duty.

can i ask if it is not a perfect X is it considered failed vote? Cuz my stamp ink ran out at the bottom

They will have final say but both sides can contest the vote

But usually not much dispute and as a former counting agent, can say they are quite fair
