i usually will message the few drivers from tripadvisor ...
their rates usually would change from time to time ...
usually is 1800b for 8 hours, or 1300 to 1400b for 5 to 6 hours

Haha we going in a group of 4 so I thought renting a vehicle would be better plus safer. I going in August, raining season I scared soak in the rain haha

if u r driving by your own, note that the road can be steep for some areas
usually the roads are 2 lanes in each direction ...

if u book your own driver might be better ...
no need worry so much ...

Yea, pay abit more you save the trouble. Trouble of type of petrol, parking lot and etc.

The cars there drive very fast, even though is 2 lanes only
my driver drove about 100+ kinda fast for 2 lanes road ...
keep overtaking those pick up lorry ...

actually would suggest u book a 5 hrs half day tour, about 1400b
the driver can bring u to places u wanna go, such as temples, shopping malls, etc

perhaps 1000b for return trip ...

booked the driver, and he brought us to
wat chalong, big buddha, central festival , karon beach points, other temples

Another alternative to see Big Buddha is doing ATV in Karon. They can pick you up in your hotel (cheaper if your hotel is around kata/karon). You will ride through some beach points and let you stay in Big Buddha for 30mins (enough time for taking pics). Not recommended for kids though as the ATV is kind hard to handle and kinda dangerous track (and make your thumb sore for the whole day). Sorry I dont remember how much it was.

Doubt so, been to phuket 8 times already ...
However, note that the things in phuket is generally more expensive than in Bangkok ...

Especially transport, they will carrot head u ...
even for grab, their lowest fare starts from 250b for a short trip ...

My advice would be to stay near the mall or beach (if u wanna shop at the mall or enjoy the beach scenary)

no doubt some 4/5* hotel are quite worth in terms of pricing. but when u wanna go out to the mall, you would have to spend at least 10+ sgd one way ...

300 to 600 or more (depending on the activities and dining options)
Tourists attractions such as wat chalong temple, big buddha temple, no need entrance fees. But if u are going to places such as museum, the fees is about $20.
Cashew nut factory can skip, unless u want to see the entire process of making a cashew nut.
Not a big place, things there kinda expensive. 100g about $4 to $6
Honey farm is just basically trying to sell you honey, where the salesperson would follow you throughout the entire trip ...

If you are eating restaurant, probably should be slightly cheaper than in Singapore. If u going to eat seafood there, bring more ...
if u r dining in at those small eating shop, prices are lower ...

Phuket is quite expensive in terms of spending compared to Bangkok. Went phi phi island for snorkelling and it was not bad.
