Anybody know how much it will cost for a return trip from Patong to Big Buddha?

If you book a trip there, it's not worth.

I would rather u booked a tour instead.

For those going from Patong to Phuket Town, there's a free shuttle van in Central Shopping Center leaving at 15 mins interval to bring you to Central Phuket Shopping Center.

The journey is around 1 hour.

Peak season should be Nov - Jan, Feb should be fine.
Why go Phuket, so expensive place?
Since you will be in BKK, can consider Koh Chang and Koh Kut. Both are ulu island so beach and island remain beautiful.
