Since the Palit is OOS now... Was thinking of getting the Zotac 1060 3gb Amp Edition instead..

Zotac AMP! (Dual Fan) $250 after $50 code discount but I get 5years warranty instead vs $230 Palit Dual Fan 3years warranty..

What you guys think?

Sounds like a good deal too. I believe the build for the AMP version should be better than Palit Dual. At least in terms of cooling capability.

Hmm.. Not too sure about the cooling capability... But if the AMP version is really better, then it would definitely be the best of both worlds in terms of value for $ / warranty

I was thinking like you too. But I have not heard of Techdynamic which is the distributor of Zotac. I am not sure if they are a new distro. Convergent has a thread here in the forum and they are active here. So I can just contact them on the forum here if I need any help. Have not seen a thread here by Techdynamic though. 5 yrs very long time and I not sure if Techdynamic will still be around. In the end I bought Palit GTX1060 dual.

This is just my opinion. If u have bought stuff from Techdynamic and are confident of them, go ahead with the zotac.

From the pictures I see that Zotac amp version has 2 big heatpipes vs Palit dual version which has a few smaller ones on the cooler. I am not sure which one is better in cooling. Any engineer here to comment how heatpipe numbers affect cooling ? I ordered Palit and waiting for it to arrive.
