000 cable has not arrived in Jaben. I have been waiting for it for nearly 6 months now, since I got it together with my custom :(

Not microphonic at all. I can snap a comparison photo of the 001 against the SW when I get home if you want.

The 001 makes a vibrating 'twang' almost like tight wire being strung when sliding across the edge of a table.
Is that defined as microphonic?

I assume so? As long as the cable produces sound when being hit on something, it is considered microphonic?

Hey guys...last night I managed to dig out some unused tips in the cupboard...I realize that I have a whole bunch of spare buds from my previous sennheiser ie8 and sony xba40....

All tips are able to fit the 334...Personally I would use my sony hybrid tips from my sony xba40.And it's super good in isolation and comfort fit....better than the ortofon tips...

Try it....saw eBay selling the sony hybrid tips for a cheap price....

Does anyone know what is the impedance of the TG334? It's not published on their website.

Interesting, is Melomane a modified ver of Paterre? How many drivers are there?

Are there any differences at the faceplate to indicated which model other than counting the number of BAs inside?

Sadly there isn't. But I do know friends who choose to put the model name as the initials on their customs.

How long usually, can the fit last on customs? Assuming you don't have drastic weight fluctuation throughout the years.

Said to be average 2 years at least for a fully grown adult.

Definitely won't recommend customs to people who are still undergoing puberty/still growing as they will most likely go out of fit in a +-a year

But It is really up to the individual. Have a friend who received his first customs 4 months before enlisting into ndu. Around 1 year he lost his perfect fit.
