too bad jaben is closed. my hand is itchy now,

No worries. Just remember to bring down your usual rig. Synergy also plays a part in the aural audition. :)

Agree with surprise of Taeyeonie: the timbre of the TG334 was one of the first things which struck me when I first listened to it. Especially when you have strings like the cello as the bow is drawn across. With high quality music files, you can really feel the instruments and the vocals.

Which is why even though I now have the customs for fitears, the TG 334 is still with me with nary a thought of selling it on.

I guess this goes to show that firstly, all our hearing/perception is constricted differently, and, secondly, there is no substitute for a test run with your normal rig.

I am aware that to demo the TG 334 is touch and go since they still sell like hotcakes. I think then the best alternative to have a friend who owns one to allow you to demo it. Probably not less than half an hour to get a feel for it.

Freddychin has it spot on: have a listen and all will be clear if the iem is for you. If it pulls at your heart strings, then you will know what you must do... ;)

TG334, to me, do not have as much timbre as MH334.

MH334 has a better sound over TG334.

but then again, TG334 remains as one of the top few universal iems out there.

No argument that the MH 334 may have an edge. That's why I am awaiting a MH334. But there is still timbre aplenty from the TG 334.

Shipping is quite pricey from musicaacoustics right? Can I share shipping cost if you are ordering? Looking for M size

The price is USD$34.99 for 5pairs, shipping cost is included. (eg. 10pairs = $69.98)

Therefore shared shipment would not save you any additional cost.

The $15.00 EMS shipping option is available if you want a much secured shipment with tracking. (Which IMHO is irrelevant)

I hit jackpot. The tips got lost during postage and the arrangement offered to me is to just pay the ems and they will ship a new set via ems. Do take note normal mail has no tracking nor "warranty"/"insurance" so it's just hoping nothing will go wrong one.

which iem ciem u upgrade to?? very curious..

More of re-org. Sticking to es5 and some entry/mid tier universals. I like to play around with entry/mid tier and find myself appreciating them more.

Over the past few months burning in and listening, i realised i don't really like the sig after all. I did quite like it initially and thought that it was a good complement to my ex-k3003. Over time it just grew out of me. Too much mid bass hump + too laidback treble to balance out the hump makes the overall sound abit drowned out. Timbre is excellent though... the only reason that delayed my decision to sell.

same for me

i buy new releases which are entry or mid, to see i can find a novelty which suit me, easier to sell and cant sell also not so pain, damage also not high when buy..

more for the novelty and experimentation in my case
