Depending on who ask, the inflation factor plays a part.

And they need to up their cost.

Is very much both vendor (ie. Fitear) and distributor (ie. Jaben) factor for price increase.

vendor for not controlling the retail price/let distri earn greater margin while they keep their share = profiteering.

distributor for profiteering beyond the recommended retail price set by vendor (without knowledge/or with consent).

Such practice in the long term does little to grow the business, in fact, is opportunity for other vendors to seize more business. Hence, we don't see others increasing their prices.

Lol when there is demand there will be markup. Not like you can get fitear customs anywhere besides Jaben in Singapore. People who love the sound will have to bear the cost.

True when the person can justify and afford the mark up.

But to others, it will just turn them off...

to be truthful. i do indeed feel that the price of fitear monitors is jacked up waaaaaaaaay too high by overseas distributors. not too sure is it a practice by fitear or the fault of the various distributors. unless you can be soundly convinced that the great differences in price is due to the numerous excuses of high rarity/limited outside of japan, high build/sound quality, otherwise the rest will find no justice in paying so much more for an "invisible fee" which will surely shoo off some of the potential customer who felt disgusted by the price differences.

just my two cents. anyway back to topic fitear fitear number 1!

fitear→バランスはフラット。音場感は左右比較的広め(ホール感？)。音の分離力はまずまず、しかしayaと比べるとクリア感や高域の表現力で2段階ほど劣る。実売9万程度だそうですが、正直高いです……

aya→バランスは低域強めのフラット。分離力とボーカルの表現力、高域の表現力が桁違いに半端無い。低域は若干強めだが決して被る事は無い。カスタム版で出れば購入！？

個人的にはayaはカスタムのベストバイになるかと！

in conclusion, don't buy fitear not worth the money but maybe can try aya. and aya seems to be what i'm looking for. but then again price not release yet and will kena jack up high high.

sometimes, paying premium price is associated with after sales services (sending back for refit, or to help customers with their RMA, etc) *think of Apple products*


unless of course the person has time to do those things on his/her own, then there isn't a need for paying premium, and just go direct.
