My office hawker center here increase 30 cents till now haven't drop likely permanent already

Cai Png rise $$.

Previously less than $4.

Now is more than $4, crossing $5

If not mistaken, $1 (more than 25% increase) or more price rise per meal.

Maybe Toa Payoh still $2.50 cai png ?

But many still around. In fact lunch/dinner time those F&B places very crowded

Industrial estate I think don't up too much due to the area mostly mean for ow salary worker.

Only those place with more footfall hawker will increase.
Amoy, tanking pagar, old airport road etc

During COVID is seriously deflation, market is bad, everyone cook from home.
Do you see hawker reduce their price?
Even give free rental and government pay them salary do they reduce their price?

In general, yearly price increase of 20% or more is acceptable and normal and should increase more ?
