Ya true not many choices however i think is the customer support that matter if got problem and get it fix fast then is fine.

some more non of the isp are prefect in everyway :s22:

they have their good and bad side, just that weather u can take it or not :s13: (basically deal with it =:p)

but as for issues, if a single user have it, they can fix it fast, but if its a major area, den u have no choice but to wait :s8:

Ya true also depend luck too as recently VQ got outrage and alot of people complained but i am not affected in a way....

Just abit of streaming problem to china side only esp video from youku and tudou..but i use VPN now to fix that problem and is streaming smoothly and it could be china blocking IP addresses that is not china or throttling it speed too.

Other than occasional M1 Fibre DNS server outages (which change DNS to OpenDNS or Google DNS can fix), M1 Fibre is up and running most of the time.

Sometimes there is higher ping due to service issue, but all in all the occasional hiccups is worth given the fact that you'll save a lot. Both M1 Fibre is cheaper and also the M1 Mobile discounts.

Sent from Sony E5653 using GAGT

My flat near to Jalan Besar there. So far throughout the year nothing happened with M1 fibre broadband.

I am also looking for ISP and mainly also gaming and streaming videos (mostly china app)

I am on VQ plan so tentively look at MR but seem like some of ppl also promote M1..so far is M1 good? I willing to use M1 due to my got 3 mobile lines with M1.

I have not had major issues with M1 so far (touch wood!). I don't stream videos from China app so can't verify that but for gaming, I am quite sure it's one of the best for gaming. Easily.

For gamer it will be better to go for M1 gamepro which has custom route.

ya m1 got gaming plan..but how is video streaming?? Anyone tried to stream video using apps like Mo Li, Bee and Q station?? these are china apps.

I am looking at Gamer plan only since i am a gamer and also watch alot drama too.

As M1 gamepro got custom route mean if lagging they can change route?

As i know, for the gamepro they will assign 1 static ip to you specifically.

Normally, they will assign a public ip to you which share with other M1 user.

Btw i am using that shared public ip, 5ms for cs-go and dota2 (wireless connection, if wired can get up to 1-3ms).

I check across all ISP..only VQ, MR and M1 got Gamer plan.

However compare to prices M1 is lower. And also M1 got 1gbs download speed where by VQ and MR only 500Mbs.

VQ and MR got multi networks plan and 2Gbps plans (Only VQ).

How do we know is a public IP or static IP. As currently, my IP like never change before and i am on VQ 1Gbps with freedom VPN.

You mean static or dynamic public IP? M1 by default is dynamic public IP, restart ONT and the public IP will change.

i mean static how to check but i think i know now ..if external IP changes after restart router mean it is dynamic IP.

So M1 Gamepro also dynamic IP too?

From my usage yeah either i restart ONT or request new WAN IP via router config page.

P.S. Im on normal $39 1Gbps plan not gaming.

Ah i see.. as what princewenle mentioned below, Gamepro will assign 1 ip to user and have custom routing.

So mean can only look at MR and M1 only as for VQ actually pretty interested in their 2Gbp single network since my bro and me will do gaming and streaming too so we both can have max 1gbs for us since is a combined of 2Gbps

Doesn't matter actually.

As my current plan $39/mth, my daily usage almost as follow:
1. HTC mobile gaming
2. Ipad online mobile gaming
3. Asus Zenfone surf+media social+streaming
4. PC gaming + streaming + download PC game (5gb-10gb)

All together, playing cs:go still can get 5ms.

I don't know what's the point having 2GB since 1GB is more than enough.

Too much money?
Then go for the 2GB with dual broadband to cover your whole flat.

If you want cheap+reliable connection then go for M1, otherwise just consider VQ / MR.

Ah i see.. mobile i dont use that much but PC gaming, console gaming and TV box for streaming box is the main usage of my bro and myself.

Mainly play D3, the division, and other MMO usually get like 200ms
I use china apps that extract video mostly from youku, tudo, qiyi etc ..at 720p .. even VQ give buffering issue and Youku is totally blocked till i used VPN.

2GB dual broadband??? you mean those 1 + 1 Gamer plan?

No problem watching video streaming at all. You must know which sites to go. Some sites allow people outside China to watch whileas many do not allow us to watch. This has nothing to do with ISP. China authority will block outsider from watching their program. They have their copy right and they also have some policies etc.
