How to post with picture? I think i can draw a layout at corner with dumb bell shape.:s12:

Ok. Since you can imagine how a dumbbell corner unit layout can look like, now imagine.. how would the external facade look like now after changing the corner unit layout into a dumbbell version? Will it be affected? :D

I think corner or not can always make into dumb bell shape to save that corridor 2 meters

Haha am I the only one who prefer a corridor leading to the bedrooms rather than dumbbell layouts? My parents’ condo has a long corridor branching out to four bedrooms and one utility. The bedrooms have so much more privacy and I find it classic. My own house now has the bedroom opening to the living room and is not what I would preferred if I have the budget!

I’m another who likes corridor, more privacy to master bed room and other common rooms.
Not a fan of dumb bell. If living room on tv, will disturb the sleep of those in bedrooms next to it.

I think my preference for dumb bell is because i am single=:p

Singles / couple with no kids probably prefer dumb bell shape.

I think it’s pretty cramped at an average of 22-23m between blocks. But still not that bad, I think ppl can tolerate. 15m is like really uncomfortable. I think 30m onwards is decent.

Me tooooo!!! I also prefer layouts with a short corridor to the bedrooms. Personally not a fan of dumbbells too. I also feel corridors create an illusion that a space is larger, making it look more pleasing although many ppl may argue not a very efficient use of space. To me, the corridor can even be incorporated into one’s interior design :D
