I checked through seems like only 2 models got 4 tick so I bought Samsung.

SAMSUNG 2 DOOR FRIDGE RB34T6054B1
Actually go for 4 ticks because fridge is the only appliance that you have to turn on 24 hours all year round. It's really an under rated appliance, I don't know why people invest so little in it.
Yes that why I got the 4 ticks. Only got this and another LG model.

Thanks for sharing but no insurance. But fridge also not much food so still ok. Quite empty.

I know buying from JB is cheaper including delivery but warranty will be a problem but again fridge basically can last 10 years
No time to go choose. But if have international warranty is good buy. However big brands likely overall price should be consistent regardless regions.

I do not agree. Personally did my research before, its just not worthed the premium paid for a 4tick over 3tick (at least now and past years)
if u really keen to findout there's this Annual Energy consumption label on every fridge model in sg. just compare 3 vs 4 tick consumption (of similar capacity) and u realised one usually need at least 10years+ of kwh $ usage to cover back the premium paid for that extra tick :s13:

thats the main reason why retailers aint too interested to market much 4tick models yet

Hitachi MIJ.

My fridge lasted me over 12 years, I want to change also no chance.

BTW, TS can try to claim from home contents insurance if he has one. Some cover food spoilage due to fridge malfunction.
basket, my lg fridge 20+ yrs already, still going strong…
only 1 rear wheel koyak, tilted 1 side, have to stuff a piece of wood to the balance the fridge…
getting sick of its look, and thinking of using the cv, and hopefully the cdc supermart voucher to get a new unit…
still looking for a 500L replacement…

i was comparing those mini bar fridge and realised the one with 4 ticks only comes with small chiller with the rest as fridge. the one with 3 ticks consumes more energy annually, as it comes with a freezer…
not sure if my assumption is correct or not…
