My pullups is normal grip leh, not wide grip.

I don't dare do heavy barbell rows, cause i think my form not that right. Might hurt my back =/

O offtopic, does having less sleep affect my strength?
I slept at like 2.30am yesterday, and wokeup at like 8am today and i felt very weak.

If you don't wanna do barbell rows (which I personally feel is considered a staple in any program), perhaps consider doing your pull-ups with some weights.

Meaning, weighted pull-ups.

And concerning sleep, its different for everyone. Some people get by with 4 hours sleep, others need 8-10 hours.

It could also be due to auto-regulation.

Single arm DB rows is a good alternative.

Pull ups work the width of your back but for thickness a rowing motion is better.

Consider a machine row, cable row or iso lateral row - these would all perform the rowing motion but you are seated and will not hurt your lower back.

Eventually you'll need to do BB Rows, perhaps in 3 months or so, but work up to it.

Agree with DB row. It also works on the anti-rotary aspect of core stability. Takes the lower back mostly out of the equation too so much less chance of injury. You just need heavy enough DBs though, or go high rep.

You're not strong enough to row that weight properly. Please focus on your form.

use lighter weight. you are still young. don't injure yourself. once injured, it will never be as good as before.

^Nope. Pendlay rows are done with a more perpendicular back position and elbows flared (pull to chest instead of belly). But yup, reset every rep.

@OP. Lower weight, don't reset to the floor (try narrowing foot position). Keep your lower back TIGHT, the whole time.

Don't think of it as bending over. Think of it as reducing your torso angle by sticking your ass out.

@Frozt

I do not know the best form for barbell rows but yours is quite bad with the lower back moving around like that mid set. It is best to lock the lower back and have your spine in a neutral position and do not move out of this locked position throughout the entire movement.

Yep thanks for the comments.
Was playing around with the weights.

The biggest concern i had was does my body have to be parallel to the ground, or can i go at 45degrees or so, and not resetting at the floor.

Looks like i found my answers so far =D

Dun the lower back, or the core as an extension, gets cooked frm that?

It's one of the reason why I don't row as well haha.

Looks like the new bedok gym..

Clubfitt gyms are always short of benches. Hate it when people sit down and just do concentration curls for 20 mins straight..
