FCKING HELL! I just finish doing Overhead Presses using 10kg plates. I put the olympic bar down on the floor, about to do deadlifts. And when i was about to slot in the 10kg plates, a fcker took away my 10kg plates and loaded onto his smith machine. After my friend realize that, he told me and i super dulan. Then my friend jitao walk over and remove his 10kg, then the guy super pissed off and say "wtf you doing". Kao lucky i maintain my composure, i seriously wanted to scold him "Wtf u wtf me for? I was still using the fcking 10kg plates, why u took it away from me without asking? Mother never teach u manners?"... In the end warmuped with 15kg a side

---

Selfpwned moment:
my friend challenging to see who can do the most RPM on the sationary bike....
So i tried and paddled to 230RPM, and with the super loud noise that it generates, the clubfitt auntie come over and "Oie what you doing!" to me LOL.

Another thing,
i always feel my bone pain when i doing pullups, especially after the 10th-13th rep. Any ideas why?

The damn plate was just by my side, on the ground.
He picked it up while i went to take the 20kg plates....

Don't really wanna get into a heated argument with a stranger in public place, 大人不记小人过. I'll just let him have it, and warmup with 15kgs instead.

And my friend had to not-deadlift cause no plates for him...

....Dude, have some self-respect.

I see this a lot in guys around our age group. There is NOTHING WRONG with telling some one he is being an asshole and correcting the wrong done.

This is basic adult confrontation ability. There doesn't have to be any raised voices, punches thrown, or insults hurled.

Next time, inform him you were using it, take the plate back. If he insists on keeping it, or 'snatching' it, and wants to continue being a dick... which incidentally means you're either not imposing enough to start with, or he's a social retard... snitch on him to the PT.

I'm not one to advocate going around and trying to act alpha. I've never started sh*t, and (almost) never respond to it. But when little things like this happen, you owe it to yourself, and should have the maturity, to step up a little.

The last time someone took my weight, I finished my set, told him I was using it, and took it back. Easy.

I'm pretty sure my friend did mentioned "We using".
But he gave the face like "WTF?"
So nvm, forget it.

Worst thing, he took 1 plate away from us, and left 1 plate with us.
I can imagine deadlifting warm up with 1 green plate(10kg), and 2 mini 5kg plates.

O--------oo

3.50 x 2 + 1.50 = $8.50 gone for gym per week.

$22 per week pocket money - $8.50 = $13.50
$13.50 / 5 = $2.70 to eat everyday =S Excluding Dinner

Cannot make it lar lol.

Yeah agree with this , just confront the guy , its your workout , don't let anything or anyone compromise it. Especially since you're on 5x5 SL workout , every workout should feel better than the last . Get all your warm ups in and hit new PR's every workout.

If you let someone walk over you once , and you pass it off just like that , what will happen the next time someone takes your plate?

I assume the guy who took your plates isn't that big of size since you just snatch the plate back just like that.

Best is just wait for him to finish his set , tell him you were still using the 10's and take it back. Don't take No for an answer .

Sounds to me like he is ignorant about proper gym etiquette , so just get back your plates politely and he'll realise his mistake and hopefully he can pass it on to the next guy.

Other than that , gj on your workout . Strong pull ups are strong.

Do you use overhand grip and on don't control the descent?

Yep overhand grip, i drop pretty fast down. But the pain only comes when i'm pulling up, not down.

He's definitely bigger size than me, not sure whether it's fats or muscles or a combi of both though.

From his bench, 12.5kg per side on smith machine, i'm not really intimidated by him though =S
If he bench 125kg total then yeh, LLST. I'll think twice lol.

And thanks btw =D

{/QUOTE]

I think your pain is caused by your rapid descent. And you go all the way down right? As in you lock out your shoulders.
