If u want your shares to be held in CDP,
For cheaper rates for trading in Singapore market. Usually what we do is buy from DBS Vickers Cash Upfront. After shares go into CDP. We can sell via FSM (select sell via CDP).

Once $ goes into FSM. We transfer the amount back into our respective bank.

Any shares bought directly via FSM is held under custody. NOT CDP. Though u can request for manual transfer to CDP. With a fee if im not wrong
Very informative. Thank you. I believe the fee is waived for now if wanan trx to CDP. Still thinking whether I shld do it :)

Sent from Stamford Bridge using GAGT

If intend to keep for long. Then usually ppl go for CDP
If only short term trade then no point the hassle.

Whatever it is. It is good to submit the CDP linkage form just in case any time u need it to sell any shares already held under CDP

It's only 1 time hassle to print out and mail. I did that as well :)

Looking to switch from POSB IS to FSM RSP due to cheaper fees.

Some qns before I switch

Is FSM RSP able to delete and buy again on certain months without redeeming? In the T&C state that it will delete if unable to deduct from cash account after 3 attempts. So does it mean it's automatically redeemed or my unit share still valid?

I know that it's not "really DCA" per month per ETF cause I will be rotating buying MBH/ES3 and also global ETF each per month.

So far POSB IS is able to do it. Is FSM RSP able to carry out such request? If able to, how should I do it?

I tried it before, it is not a problem...I deleted my RSP on ES3 and apply back again...It did not ask me to sell away the shares...You have to instruct them to sell away the shares...They won't sell it even if you stop your RSP...

Sure anot?? what i know is have to mail the hardcopy

Email scanned copy?

Yes, email them scanned copy or if you know how to type into their downloaded PDF form.

This is my question to them in April 2020:

Hi,

Your notice: "As part of the essential services in the finance and banking sector, full operations of FSMOne.com will continue as per normal even as FSMOne.com team works 100% from home. The FSMOne reception area will be closed with effect from 20 April 2020 (Monday), and walk-in customers will no longer be able to come into our office premises (until further notice)."

Thus as per your notice above, there will be nobody to process our forms as your "team works 100% from home." Can I submit by email with the scans of the CDP Account Linkage forms attached? Please advise.

This is their reply:

Dear ***,

Thank you for your email.

Yes, we accept the scan copy for the CDP linkage form during circuit breaker. Thus, please furnish us the form by replying this email.

We look forward to receiving your document soon.

Feel free to contact us if you require further assistance.

Thank you and have a pleasant day.

Regards,
Wan Hwa | Client Services | FSMOne

After Circuit Breaker, they are still working from home, as declared here:

question 2 of FAQ, dividend will go into cash account if you did not opt for auto-sweep accout

https://secure.fundsupermart.com/fsm/advice-services/faq/1619/

Even after I sold my shares. I thought my funds will auto return to my linked DBS acc but no. It just sits at my cash acc until I order it to be paid to DBS then FSM will issue cheque to do so. I guess for those who want it auto into bank acc will have to sign GIRO form (which is what other brokerages are doing) I'm not sure if FSM has any GIRO form for us to sign in the 1st place
