Hey I got mine at NUS too, but my s7110 has been giving me loads of problems.
Firstly my wireless somehow got corrupted but the IT Centre people fixed it. Now my taskbar keeps freezing and the com hangs every 5 minutes...does anyone know why it keeps happening? I've only got norman antivirus (came with the laptop) and messenger installed...so I have no idea why it keeps hanging...
would be v grateful if someone could help me here..
Hi there, your system by default already has an Anti Virus installed Trend Micro. If you install another Anti Virus it will definately give you problem. System will be by unstable if you have 2 Anti Virus installed.

Slow internet surfing

Hi, am new here. Got my S7110 from NUS too. The laptop is rather slow when it comes to surfing the net. There is always a delay before the webpage is loaded. For instance, when doing a search on Google, there'll be a 10sec delay after hitting the "search" button before the results page is displayed. I've only used my laptop using the wireless connection in NUS, so I'm not sure if the problem is peculiar to NUS wireless.

Not sure if anyone else has the same problem.

if i'm not wrong, u can upgrade the ram on ur own, but please use the same specs for the ram.
max memory for s7110 is 4gb ddr2 677.

but for the warranty, the ram will not be covered if it is not bought from Fujitsu. :D

weight saver is the piece of black thingy to replace the optical drive (if u decide not to bring out ur opticcal drive).

if u r refering to nus's promo.. it doesnt come with the weight saver. it only has the function. was kind of bluffed. lOl... stunned. i went to ask..and the shop lady told me that it cost ard 40+sgd.

Inserting headphones into laptop

I am wondering if i need to manually go to the control panel and set the sound from headphones and change it back to laptop speakers everytime i insert and remove the earphones.

For other laptops, after inserting the earphones, sound is automatically transfer to the earphones...

Anyone can advice on this?

which model r u using?
from what i know, u just need to set the speakers to laptop speakers and when u insert the headphone it will auto detect the headphone and when u remove, it will go back to laptop speakers

Heat problem

Just got my T7210 tablet from matriculation. I realise whenever the tablet gets hot, the left hand side of the plastic part whereby the rubber support is attach to it(underneath) seems to expand. When i placed my hand on my tablet, it will produce some "cracking" noise and somehow cause the tablet to be "unbalance" Do anybody encounter this before? is it the design constraint? I am thinking about going down to the service center --"
