i am using s7110.. any one knows how to use the bluetooth? is there a prog in the laptop preinstalled? or do we need to install a separate prog? i know the key to on the bluetooth is the wireless tab. does it means my bluetooth is on all the time whenever my wireless lan is on?

They won't stop you from adding RAM. Only they will not warranty your extra RAM too...

oh.. so for normal laptops.. When u open it and add ram.. Warranty is nt voided la.. Den when sending for service.. Do we need to remove the ram?

You can call Fujitsu Care Line @ 63956666 for a replacement CD at $80 - $100. Of course, if you can get a normal OEM installation CD for your Windows, you can make use of your COA under your machine.

But cannot find Recovery CD. Anyway I can get them?

It depend on the recovery cd lor...

If it is a ghosting image, it iwll over write both partition.
If it is just like any other installation cd, you can op for which partition to earse and resintall.

hi all... i got a question to ask.. i would like to reinstall my laptop OS to the original state.

Currently i got 2 drives, C: and D:. i have saved some data into D drive. Was wondering if i use the recovery cd to restore my OS, will the contents of D drive be destroyed? it's very impt cause the data is very impt to me...

Hi all... i just read through this thread n is astonished to find out that the 1.8kg for S7110 is only when optical drive is taken out and replace with a weight saver plastic

I wonder how heavy the S7110 is without weight saver options. can anyone advise soonest? cos i'm thinking of asking my sis to help me buy a lappie today... is considering between S7110 and acer Tm3012 right now...

It's slightly 2kg with the real optical drives. At the price acer is offering, you can never find it in fujitsu. However, fujitsu is expensive for its quality. every cents worth. So it's up to you to decide. I've bought my fujitsu 2 years ago and it has never fail on me.

My bf's laptop is now in fujitsu service center for repairing after using for 2 years plus, i think they change the fan and repair dunno wat... heng he's got 3 years parts & labour warranty...

But my bf still thinks that it's more worth it to get the fujitsu la... at least the branding is there and they do provide good aftersales customer service from what i see... so i'm going for fujitsu...

btw, is the warranty 3 years for parts & labours? or 1 yr warranty for parts and labour and next 2 years warranty for parts only? for student purchase through nus...
