Perhaps, it is just my personal instinct. My group of course mate actually proven to me that people whom buy from the school does go to the service center more often than I do. For the whole 3 years in Poly, I only been to the service center twice. While they patronise there like they go clubbing. hehe~

Well, this situation maybe coincidence or rather it does not means all machine from the schools are expected to go through such torment.

So, it is up to personal preference and belief.

hahaha you got me laughing hard with this --> "While they patronise there like they go clubbing. hehe~"

i've actually heard some friends telling me that school laptops are recon sets thus the cheap price. and specs are greatly reduced. but my cousin who bought hers quite some time back til now still working fine. thus wondering whether it's just isolated cases of getting lemon sets.

have always been buying fujitsu laptops from retail. getting way too expensive. looking at the attractive price from np got me tempted. really got to weigh the pros and cons wisely.

Well, if you still can't decide, follow the old way. "Monkey see monkey do." Follows your course mate, school mate etc. :~)

Hi, I've bought a Lifebook E8210 from Singapore Polytechnic for around 1 year, when the laptop began to start having heat problems around 6 months ago, together with some noise from the laptop constantly. Now, it's not getting better, in fact the heat problem got worse (No one dares to sit to my left because it burned one guy's hands before), and the noise is apparently loud enough that I was advised to leave the library.

Can anyone tell me what to do to fix it? Is there an easy way to remove the dust inside, without opening up the laptop? (Vacuum cleaner?)

Thanks in advance.

If it is so hot and so noisy, why are still using it? You should send for a check! Moreover, burnt someone hand! It is time already, to send it for servicing! What if it explode?! Haha~ *Choy~*Touch all wood I have around me.*

i believe fujitsu will not send out recon sets.. the reason i can think of is the user themselves.. how they use the laptop and the way they handle it.. :D
